My wife and I bought our home in Morgan County, Utah, in the spring of 2013, and since then we have immersed ourselves in the local community. We own Morgan Mercantile, a local specialty store featuring multi-vendor products, crafts, a unique honey shop, and a flooring store. I teach a weekly karate class for kids and adults in town and have been involved with the Morgan Valley Preservation Committee, as I have a keen interest in all things historic. Here in Morgan City, we have our own historic district along Commercial Street, where our Mercantile is located, with a variety of local shops and eateries. My wife and I also own several rescue dogs and cats, a horse, and a small field of alfalfa. I am very knowledgeable about Morgan County and the surrounding areas, including south Weber County and Summit County. This is an area for those looking to slow down, enjoy outdoor recreation, appreciate clean air, experience all four seasons, and rarely see a traffic light.

I also serve in a variety of capacities. In the past, I have served on a planning commission, on the boards of two credit unions, and on a city committee focused on helping end homelessness. I currently serve on the board of a nonprofit organization that assists with foster care, adoptions, and child trafficking rescue. These experiences have given me working knowledge of city and county planning, zoning, development, financial oversight, compliance, and service to those in great need. Together, they have shaped a unique skill set that allows me to assist clients fully with their real estate needs.

 

I grew up in Southern California, though I spent many summers in Missouri at our family farm. That experience gave me an appreciation for both farming and the rural lifestyle, which eventually brought me to rural northern Utah. I first entered the real estate business in 1990 and have since worked in property management, property law after obtaining my law degree in 1998, investment properties, and assisting individuals and companies with buying and selling properties. I earned my MBA in 2004 and understand the financial analysis that goes into considering an investment property purchase. While I specialize in finding and vetting investment properties, I am also highly experienced in helping homeowners sell for the highest value possible and helping buyers find the right home while negotiating a strong deal. I am highly adept in contracts, negotiation, and understanding the needs of all parties involved in a transaction, and I am here to assist you with your real estate and property questions.
